Our history
It is 30 years since PharVet (Ireland) Ltd. was established after taking over Nolan Chemicals Ltd. PharVet supplies a wide and diverse range of quality products to the veterinary profession and farming community.
PharVet was purchased by Interchem (Ireland) Ltd. in 2011 and is located in Dublin. The association with Interchem brings with it many merits including standards of excellence with the products we provide and the value we give to our customers.

As part of PharVet’s value added support, the team at PharVet host a number of educational initiatives for customers. PharVet also run webinars, lunch and learns, farmers meetings, and one to one coaching. PharVet pride themselves in being able to provide valuable, expert technical support and training through their specialist technical teams and other expect technical personnel.

Our specialists sales team consists of in field territory managers as well as inside sales personnel. These are supported by our in house technical vet and independent consultant nutritionist. PharVet is environmentally conscious and continuously looking at ways to minimise its carbon footprint. For the Irish animal health industry, Interchem deems being a member of REPAK essential. This involves the recovery and recycling of packaging waste.
Staff trek Dublin mountain to raise money for Service Dog Charity My Canine Companion
The staff at PharVet and Interchem trekked almost 10km through the Dublin Mountains at Tibradden Wood. The trek which proved to be a real team adventure raised €1,100 for the charity My Canine Companion (Charity no. 20023). The team at PharVet are grateful for the donations that came in from suppliers, staff, family and friends. My Canine Companion is the largest training provider for service dogs in Ireland, training two-thirds of the Irish service dogs for autism.
Staff take part in the #DanceWhileYouCan campaign to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease
The staff at PharVet took part in a fun charity walk for the Motor Neuron “Dance while you Can” campaign in aid of Motor Neurone Disease research. This special walk took place around the stunning Blessington Greenway. Interchem raised €800.
Staff trek 10km to raise money for the Irish Society for the Protection and Caring for all Animals charity
The staff at PharVet and Interchem walked 10km along the Dublin Mountain Way raising over €1,500 for the ISPCA. Donations came in from all stakeholders including suppliers, staff, family and friends and the walk proved to be a real team exercise as both field and office based staff took part.
